Oh hai!
Wow. Look at me. First post in this section. Woo.
I'm trying to find some fun peeps in Newcastle. I'm a transplant from Sydney and I'm freaking dying here people.
So. Anyone? *crickets*
I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Weird, strange, sick, twisted, eerie, godless, evil stuff. And I want in.

Try visiting Totoro's Teahouse - 1/111 Hunter Street Mall. Is an all-vegan cafe/gallery/venue that some of my friends run as part of the Renew
Newcastle scheme.
I'm not from Newcastle.

There are quite a few Newcastle goths hiding around here, though there don't seem to be as many as there used to be.
Perhaps one of you Newcastle folk might like to organise a meetup of some description?
I'm sure if it were an exciting enough prospect some of the the Central coast/Sydney goths might even travel up for it?

Ah! Yes, it appears we would do. Possibly even multiple friends in common, if siblings do indeed count as frends.

I'm in Newcastle. I'm looking at getting something started here, but not sure what.
I was wondering whether Novocastrians could hlep me: I'm after some D-ring boots, but where?

Has anyone thought about organising a meetup perhaps at the Maitland Gaol or something like that?
I have family in the Newcastle area and have been told about the tours that they have there.
It is something I may travel to the area for if there is guaranteed a decent turnout?
Haha. Or a wine tour for those 18+ amongst you

So, the tourist information website provided me with a little information. Maitland Gaol does 'Psychic Torchlight Tours'.. BYO torch.
Maitland Gaol Tour Information
I also found this:
Treetop Adventure Park
... which could be fun/amusing for outdoorsy types? Suitable for all ages and it looks very... bonding..
So there's some ideas from someone outside of the area, lets hear some from you locals, eh?

Question for you New Castle goths - are there any local goth bands up your way? Google isn't showing me much love on the subject...
